The Institute of Modern Agricultural Technologies (IMAT) is a private institution that specializes in agricultural high technology research and development, statutory, analytical, and diagnostic testing functions.

IMAT performs innovative approach to business development. IMAT works with other scientific institutes and research organizations to extend the range of services that are offered. That is why IMAT has a wide range of scientific capabilities in the areas of agriculture, plant protection, food safety, environment and biosciences that can be offered to national and international customers.

What We Do

Our goals are:

• working out scientific programs for the agro-tech sector designed to improve market performance, to protect animal and plant health, to maintain and invest in the environment, and to build a successful rural economy and society;
• providing high quality cost-effective services;
• developing the science base in Ukraine to contribute to local, national and international efforts;
• caring out specialist expertise and facilities for contracted scientific services.

IMAT provides its customers with high-quality services. It has obtained national quality assurance certification for its research in the following areas: Chemical Surveillance, Agricultural Machinery, Agricultural & Food Economics, and also for the Agricultural Technologies.
